SPRING ushers in the renewal of the spirit, with new life popping up everywhere in the plant and animal kingdoms. Fishermen anticipate ice-out on their favorite lakes and ponds, canoeists and rafters look forward to the abundant spring run-off, and nature's first feed of green fiddleheads, makes many mouths water.

SUMMER brings on the usual activities; camping, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, rafting, canoeing and sightseeing are just some of the activities that come to the forefront. Everyone wants to get outside to enjoy what mother nature has to offer, and she offers it very abundantly here in the Upper Kennebec Valley.
FALL
is ushered in by the annual Fly-in at Gadabout Gaddis Airfield
here in Bingham on the last weekend in September. The fall foliage
is kicking into high gear and there is no better place in the State
of Maine to view it than right here in the Upper Kennebec Valley,
where wildlife sightings are almost as abundant as the beautiful
scenery. Hunting is very much a part of our heritage in this region
and for good reasons. Camera buffs are also very successful in
capturing the beauty of the landscape and wildlife.

.WINTER
can be long in the Upper Kennebec Valley, so we embrace it with a
myriad of activities. Snowmobiling seems to dominate the winter
scene in Maine, and we are no exception to that rule. The ITS-87
trail system is easily accessed here, which opens up all of Northern
New England and of course Canada.
Baker Mountain offers family
skiing at a reas
onable
price, and the "bigger" mountains
are only a short drive away. We
also have numerous opportunities for cross-country skiing, snow
shoeing, and ice fishing. We don't shy away from the great outdoors
when the mercury drops.
So you see, anytime is a good time to visit us in the Upper Kennebec
Valley. We will welcome you for day trips such as hiking in to
Hunton Brook Falls or Moxie Falls, or host you for your
vacation get-away for as long as you like. Check us Out!
