President's Welcome Statement
As President of the Upper Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce
representing many towns, from south to north along Route 201 and
beyond, of Bingham, Moscow, Solon, Concord, Pleasant Ridge,
Caratunk, Embden, New Portland, The Forks and The West Forks Maine, I have the
privilege of extending a very warm welcome to our visitors,
Members and residents of the towns we serve.
The Upper Kennebec Valley is a very special and inviting place
that includes great restaurants, lodging and shopping, along
with a wonderful quality of life.
Each of these Maine communities has its own character and its special
attractions. There is always something to do, whether it's whitewater
rafting on the Penobscot, kayaking or canoeing on Wyman Lake or
the Kennebec River,
hikes to Moxie Falls, camping on thousands of acres of
wilderness, snowmobiling on our beautifully groomed trails or
just quietly enjoying our beautiful scenery with a walk or
bicycle ride.
The Upper Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce is always available to
assist in any way we can. The Chamber represents its member
businesses and works with the various communities that we
represent, supporting their activities and programs throughout
the year.
Please feel free to visit our office on Main Street Bingham,
Maine and pick up a free map of the area or any other brochure
available. Be sure to look for the UKV Chamber Member Plaque,
proudly displayed, wherever you shop or dine in the area. Upper
Kennebec Valley Chamber members care about the community and
hope you may be able to be a part of it.
